RECOSI announces changes to its Board of Directors

London, United Kingdom - Responsible Commodities Sourcing Initiative (RECOSI) today announces changes to its Board of Directors.
The organisation welcomes Gerda Frans, Head of ESG, ENGIE S.A. Global Energy Management & Sales, as its new Chair. Gerda has previously been a Member of the Board of Directors.
In addition, Taco Douma, Director Gas, RWE Generation SE, will continue as Vice Chair.
RECOSI also welcomes new Board Directors:
Simone Bertolo, Head of New Businesses and New Contracts Global Gas – Global Energy and Commodity Management, Enel
Christian - Henning Liddiard, Managing Director and Head of Commercial & Risk Management, ONYX Power
Nadja Wendler, Senior Vice President Sustainability, Uniper
Guy Smith, Head of Gas Trading & LNG, Vattenfall
Gerda Frans, Chair, RECOSI says: "I am delighted to have been appointed Chair of RECOSI at this important time. Just last week, we launched our first three-year strategy which sets out our ambitions and I'm looking forward, together with the Board of Directors, to support the RECOSI team in delivering on these goals.
As the energy commodities sector is evolving, RECOSI will continue to build sustainability programmes that support our members and their suppliers. I look forward to working with our Board on building solutions to the challenges and opportunities ahead. I welcome our new Board members and thank Taco Douma for continuing as Vice-Chair."
